All safe again Website Cleaned – Site Web nettoyé

Over the past week AVAST Anti-Virus software was prompting warnings that my site was infected with malware. After in-depth troubleshooting I was able to resolve the vulnerability and restore my website.

Although the risk was minimal to those with a good anti-virus software, as a safety precaution I recommend to everyone that browsed my site between August 26, 2011 and September 4th, 2011 to run a full system scan of their PCs.

I apologize for this inconvenience.

Au cours de la dernière semaine, le logiciel Anti-virus AVAST envoyait des avertissements que mon site avait été infecté par du malware. Après un dépannage en profondeur j’ai été en mesure de résoudre la vulnérabilité et de restaurer mon site web.

Bien que le risque était minime à ceux avec un bon logiciel anti-virus, par mesure de précaution, je recommande à tous ceux qui ont navigué sur mon site entre le 26 août 2011 et 4 Septembre 2011 d’exécuter une analyse complète de leur PC.

Redesigned Website

I’ve been hard at work over the past 2 weeks with the redesigning of my website.    The old site only had blog excerpts as a front page and was not being updated often enough to bring enough interest.  With this newly designed site, I now have a front page with a nice image slider along with some basic information,  I have links to a new portfolio/gallery for when I want to upload pictures without necessarily writing to my blog and a top menu that links to other information sections of my website.

Here is a picture I took this morning on Bate Island overlooking the Ottawa river.

This little fellow sang for me all morning as I was taking pictures of the rising sun. I decided to give him his moment of fame once the sun was up and warming him with its golden rays.
